Daily Challenge Day 18: Draw something you use every day
The bad news is that it seems to be not getting along with my computer - not sure if it's because my laptop is starting to get a bit old and still running Windows XP. I did something very simple to get used to the new cintiq, but it still doesn't feel very comfortable to use yet :(

Daily Challenge Day 15: Draw a bird or animal from life
Sketch:
Without sketch:
Drawn from a photo rather than life.
Day 14 was drawing a hand with my left hand and I didn't feel like my effort was worth posting up.

Daily Challenge Day 10: Draw everything you can see outside a window.
Just a quick one today. Yeah, I don't have a great view from my window.
Going to Seattle for the weekend; here's hoping I can keep up with the daily challenges!

Daily Challenge Day 3: Scribble for five minutes without lifting your pencil off the page.
This was probably trickier for me than the first two challenges. Goddamn time limits. Good thing I use a Cintiq and Photoshop!

Daily Challenge Day 2: Draw your shopping or to-do list using pictures not words.
I had to reference "Hyperbole and A Half" because cleaning ALL the things is never not on my to-do list.

Daily Challenge Day 1: Draw a houseplant
I did the Vancouver Draw Down daily challenge today, which was to draw a houseplant. It took me about ten minutes during my lunch break, don't know if I will be able to keep it up for the whole month but I had fun. :)
We only have two houseplants in our apartment, Kraken (the aloe vera) and Bob (the cactus).
